Man, I have been playing doodle world more than I have been playing loomian legacy recently.
I have barely hunted in the event. Even though I want the dractus, something is holding me back..... I don't know what, but something holds me black and I can't go gleam hunting.
The main reason for the change..... Probably owes the the fact Doodle World's developers actually know how to make a game. Like they aren't barraging events into our faces. It doesn't even take long for an update in doodle world, with each of them releasing every Saturday.
But. I'm complaining about going into ranked matches....... The game isn't fair on me man! I'm still only bronze rank, and I keep losing a lot because I'm being pitted against silver rnak players, aka people who know what they're doing........
I have watched videos on how to get better on pvp but they're hard to remember bc my brain is sadly being very fuzzy.
I did, however, managed to recently build a decent hidden trait Potterfiend..... And now as if I thought I can now sweep easily in pvp with armor break and sandstorm combo (via sandstorm in a bottle) I'm mad after making a realisation.
Potterfiend's main move pvp wise is earthquake. And I didn't realise the only way to get it to use earthquake is THROUGH ITS PRE-EVOLUTIONS. For bizarre reasons, claydance and Potunk can learn earthquake but not potterfiend itself.
And that irritates me because now that means I have to go and reprint the Potterfiend. But that may give me an advantage, as since I haven't finished the Potunk line's tasks, I can do them to unlock access to printing 6 stars (the potterfiend is only a 5 star).
I would be dominating ranked matches if it weren't for the laws of the land in ranked matches. The fact they restrict roulette only doodles means I can't use not just 1, but 3 OF MY SUPER STRONG DOODLES, those being Spiraryu, Spirasol and Sukikogami, all with Hidden Trait. I wouldn't be struggling so much against others if I were actually allowed to use those bloody doodles I have been working my sweat off to empower with absolute NRG! (Yes all 3 of them are my most cracked as heck doodles and I think they will do well in pvp)
I'm left with a bunch of not-so compotent doodles which are going down a long list....... A HT metalytra (whom I actually love and care for a lot despite its imperfectness), Serrafin, Seamsquire, Anubeetle, Montor, Mech artifixie (yet again I thank @Riceflavoredchurch for being nice enough to give this to me), Aluminja, Bronzoch, Umaisho, the potterfiend I have mentioned earlier, armaratus, fummasu (AKA Odoyaga but better), 6 awakened doodles (Mawthra, Thornet, Skadean, Bubbull, Archopos and Bionotic), and several others which I have forgotten about, maybe if I can eventually get a screenshot of all of the lot then you will see them all). Not too long ago, Reliconis and Wyvernal have been enlisted in, and I'm thinking of also bringing in Arthopex and Riptorvent. I care for and am thankful to all of these doodles for working themselves off to give me a good time in the game, but some of them do not seem to go with each other hence why I am not doing well in ranked (My score has dropped to between 800 and 900 which is not a good look).
I don't know who goes with who, and I try to work my way around it by balancing my team (most of the time it's well balanced) but it does come to no avail because my foes usually have things that wall my doodles.
I'm the sort of guy whose main stratergy is outspeeding and using sheer brute force to crush my foes and end the fights quickly, so I guess enlisting in Wyvernal is a good idea. I will see what I can do with it.
As for my loomians, what about them you say?
Well, I did care for them and have attachment to them...... But now for some reason, I don't feel so much the same.
I want to balance my time on loomian legacy and doodle world but it's really hard.
I need help.
To get better at doodle world pvp and also to care for both my doodles and loomians at the same time.
